We also provide software packages such as Microsoft Office, antivirus solutions and Adobe programs, as well as our care pack service, that will prepare your device for immediate use. We even stock many of the latest accessories and useful additions to accompany your purchase.

Computer West provides training sessions for businesses, home users and education institutions, both in our equipped training facility as well as at the site of an organisation environment. The courses available include learn and discovery sessions on the iPad, MacOS, and Windows OS, with future courses to include information about backup solutions and general PC use.

Computer West is an authorised service provider for EDsys, Toshiba and HP; if you have any products from these vendors that are faulting, we can perform diagnostics and repairs under warranty if the product is eligible. We also have access to Fujitsu server warranty services, if required.

As well as providing a range of products, Computer West can diagnose and resolve faults on the devices that can be purchased from the store even if they are not covered under warranty. In addition, our full assessment of desktops and laptops is completed every time a diagnosis is performed and acts as a general service of a PC, summarising its current state and allowing us to provide recommendations to improve the system. We recommend an assessment be completed every six months to a year

If it is suspected that a device has a virus, is performing in an unusual manner, or unfamiliar toolbars or popups are appearing, Computer West can complete a full assessment and, if viruses or threats are detected, has the right tools to completely remove suspicious or dangerous files from the machine and clean-up any unwanted extras that persistently appear.

When new computers are purchased customers sometimes worry that they will lose all of their files, folders and settings. With Computer West’s data transfer, however, we can copy across all of the important information and prepare your new machine to be ready for use upon collection.

Not only can we support sites of business remotely, we work with a number of other Leading Edge stores across Australia to offer the same level of professionalism and quality of service, so if you have multiple branches in other states we can offer support on the ground there too.

Computer West also offers a secure remote access facility for businesses; this web based process allows you to access your PCs and workstations from anywhere in the world providing a reliable internet connection is available.

Maintenance coverage on devices specified by you, from remote and phone service, to in-store and onsite support, is available. Managed clients receive a permanent high priority status, unlimited assistance during business hours, remote monitoring and regular onsite preventative maintenance, provision of loan hardware, advice, recommendations and reports.

Working closely with financial services providers, Computer West has put together some great finance packages for new, expanding and existing businesses wanting to purchase the latest IT equipment. The typical term of a finance contract is 36 months which coincides with the general warranty periods of most products; this allows for the forecasting of cash flow.
